Rusko – Raver’s Spesh

This past spring Rusko headlined a show in NYC and you know, I was all up on that. No one makes dub step like he does. No one gets the bros and hipsters fist-pumping like Rusko can. I was so stoked to feel the bass and move to the throbbing womps like never before. When the day finally came, I made sure everything was on point. The night HAD to be perfect. Hair and makeup? Check. Stylish clothes? Check. My crew? Check. We were looking fresh to death and we were pumped. Nothing could bring us down. Then we got to the venue.  The line was two blocks long. There was no way my friends were going to wait for “someone we don’t even know, Alison” and alas, I did not get to see Rusko. The next day I was informed by other people that it was “one of the best shows” of their lives. Thanks guys for being so sensitive. Every time I see the name Rusko, I think about this night and after hearing his new track, “Raver’s Spesh,” the pain from this failed attempt resurfaces. This song is such an anthem. I WILL SEE YOU SOON RUSKO. PROMISE <3
