The preppy pop-rockers are back with the first single off of their sophmore release entitled 'Contra'. The album is due out in January and just like the last Vampire Weekend record, it is getting a lot of hype very early. I like the new single but actually like another recent song 'Ottoman' that they released for the film 'Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist' more. The Redlight Remix slaps pretty hard to boot.
Also - look out for our boys The Postelles supporting Vampire Weekend on their upcoming shows in Toronto & Montreal!!
